Shifu and the Peach Tree

EDIT: I totally figured out what I was trying to say.

I didn't feel like Kung Fu Panda was getting the fan art it deserved, so I decided to remedy the problem.
Don't get me wrong, the stuff out there isn't bad (alot of it is pretty kick-ass), it's just that it's heavy in drawings of movie stills and the more original stuff is seriously lacking. So here's a more original piece for the count.

It looks a little like a sumi painting but OH WELL.

I loved Shifu. He pretty much wroked.

I adored this movie! I think Dreamworks has finally grown up and beyond the barrage of wink wink nudge nudge humor and may actually start to bring real stories to the table. I'm tired of stupid shit like Madagascar and Over the Hedge. Animation can be for adults, too.

So, anyway. This was done with two copic markers and then put on a parchment pattern in Photoshop.
